Develop Employability Skills Through Volunteering Workshop

As part of Employability Week 2025, join our Get Involved team for an engaging and interactive workshop where you can explore the link between volunteering experiences and enhancing your employability.
What to Expect:
- Insightful presentations: Hear from experienced volunteers in our Get Involved team and gain insights into how their volunteer work has developed key employability skills while studying.
- Interactive Workshop:Participate in group activities and workshops where you'll put your learnings into practice. Learn to identify and articulate the employability skills you can develop through different volunteering opportunities. If you’ve already participated in volunteering, the team can guide you on how to feature your volunteering experiences and employability skills on resumes and job applications!
- Networking Opportunities: Meet and network with fellow students and staff from your faculty and experienced volunteers. A free afternoon tea will also be provided!
- Skill Development Focus: Engage in group discussions to unpack how specific volunteer roles can help you develop crucial skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, citizenship and problem-solving.
