Easy 3 Ingredient Scones

Makes approx. 18 scones

Get prepped

  • Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees celsius
  • Lightly grease and sprinkle flour on a baking tray


  • 3 1/2 cups of self-raising flour
  • 1 cup (250ml) thickened cream
  • 1 cup (250ml) lemonade

To serve

  • Jam (any flavour)
  • Whipped cream


  1. Sift flour and measure out cream and lemonade
  2. Make a well in the centre of the flour and add cream and lemonade
  3. Mix gently with a fork to combine all ingredients until it comes together (it will be very dense)
  4. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently (don't overwork the dough)
  5. Press with your hands or use a rolling pin to roll out the dough to approx. 2cm thick
  6. Use a round cutter to cut rounds out of the dough
  7. Place rounds 1cm apart on your prepared baking tray
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden on top, cool slightly on a wire rack
  9. Serve with your favourite jam and lots of whipped cream!
