A number of campus tours will be running over the next few weeks for new students who arrived after orientation and may not have had the chance to visit the university!

If you are on campus and would like to learn more about St Lucia campus, register for one of our weekly tours that leave every Wednesday at 10am from the Great Court.

The tours will take a maximum of 10 people and social distancing rules will be heavily enforced.

What the tour covers: Major faculty buildings, libraries, study spots and eateries and St Lucia campus.

  • When: 10am Wednesday
  • Where: Leaves from Great Court at Info Hub, St Lucia Campus
  • Capacity: 10 people max per tour - social distancing rules to be enforced at all times.
  • RSVP: 8am the day your tour leaves until sold out.

About Campus Tours

St Lucia is a big campus and it can be easy to lose your bearings if you are new, so we recommend joining one of our peer-led campus tours. Tours are FREE and a great way to meet new people and help you navigate your way around campus. Find the main academic facilities such as the Library, the Bookshop, the Student Centre, faculties, where to get your student ID and more. You will also be shown the main eateries, bus stops, health and student services, indigenous elements, multi-faith chaplaincy and recreational venues such as UQ Sport and Art Museum.

COVID Safe Events

All events and spaces are operating in line with current guidelines. We ask that you please practice social distancing at all times.

You may attend an event or activity at a UQ location providing:

  • Have not been in close contact with an active COVID-19 case and are required to quarantine
  • You are feeling weel and have not had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms within the last 24 hours.
