About our Panel members 
Dino Willox, Director of Student Employability at UQ will commence the session with an introduction to student employability. Using their own International hockey umpiring experience, Dino will discuss the value of sporting experiences for career development.

Richard Powell, Angus Scott-Young, Caitlin Sargent-Jones and Jacinta Carroll are professional athletes in the sporting fields of rowing, rugby, athletics, waterskiing and weightlifting. The panellists will provide insights into how their involvement in sport at an elite level has advanced their current studies and career journeys. They will discuss the skills and capabilities they’ve developed as elite athletes, how they’ve applied their experiences to their current roles and provide advice to students looking to commence a career in sport.
