Volunteering Queensland Volunteering Queensland are the state peak body solely dedicated to advancing volunteering for the economic, social, cultural & environmental well-being of Queensland. We connect volunteers with NFP Organisations and visa versa. We have plenty of resources available to student volunteers as well as a volunteer position search engine on our website that can help find specific volunteering opportunities.
UnitingCare Our communities are stronger thanks to the generosity of people who put their hand up to help. Whether it's visiting an older person for a cuppa, going on holiday with a person with disability, sorting books at the Lifeline Bookfest or serving in a Lifeline Shop, volunteering brings people together.
UQ Sustainability & UQ Green Ambassador Program The Green Ambassador Program is an initiative that allows students, supported by staff, to communicate, coordinate and collaborate on student-led sustainability ideas.
Brave | You Brave | You is a collective of young women created under the wing of So Brave. Our aims are to raise awareness, promote health advocacy within young women, aged 15-25 years old, to encourage women to be #breastaware, and to increase the quality of education surrounding health for young people.
Woodfordia Inc Woodfordia Inc is a not-for-profit arts organisation that produces the Woodford Folk Festival, Festival of Small Halls, The Planting Festival, Bushtime and Lake Gkula Camping. There are volunteer opportunities that relate to events management, tourism, business administration, marketing & content curation, tour management and production.

Down Syndrome QLD Down Syndrome Queensland’s mission is to provide practical and emotional support to people with Down syndrome and their families, now and for their future. We are the experts on all things Down syndrome.  We aim to support, advocate and empower people with Down syndrome to take their rightful places as valuable and contributing members of their communities. We provide expert advice and quality services to empower individuals with Down syndrome to fulfill their potential, now and into the future.
FareShare Australia FareShare runs Australia's largest charity kitchens. We use rescued surplus food and cook it into free nutritious meals for people doing it tough. Our vision is for a society where no food is wasted and no one goes hungry.  We have opportunities for students to volunteer in the kitchen and warehouse at our facility in Morningside.
Surf Life Saving QLD From humble beginnings, when the first official rescue was recorded on a Queensland beach in 1909, SLSQ, which was formally established in 1930, has developed into a ground-breaking and highly innovative organisation.  SLSQ has 57 established surf lifesaving clubs with members patrolling 8,000 kilometres of the Queensland coastline from Port Douglas to Rainbow Bay. More than 34,000 Queenslanders are volunteer members of a surf lifesaving club and more than 462,000 are a member of an affiliated supporters club. Our vision: zero preventable deaths in Queensland public waters.

3rd Space 3rd Space Brisbane is a drop-in centre where people experiencing or at risk of homelessness find support, friendship and dignity. 3rd Space helps people through the dignity of a hot shower, café style meals as well as access to medical, mental health, law, tenancy, employment and other services. These services focus on breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Queensland Writers Centre QWC is a not-for-profit membership organisation that supports, celebrates and showcases Queensland writers and writing in all its forms. We work with our members and partners to promote a vibrant and diverse writing community across Queensland.
Youngcare Youngcare is a national not-for-profit, revolutionising the way young people with high care disability live – with freedom, dignity and choice. We are the force that empowers and drives change for young people with high physical support needs, creating a more inclusive Australia.
Ethnic Broadcasting Association of Qld T/A Radio 4EB Radio 4EB is the only full-time Multicultural Radio Station with more than 700 volunteers broadcasting in over 48 different languages. This is non-f or-profit organisation. We provide broadcast, panel operator training for members who wants to be part of a group.
