The Long Walk commemorates Aboriginal AFL player Michael Long’s walk from Melbourne to Canberra in 2004, to take a stand against racial abuse.

We will begin the walk at The Brisbane Wheel in South Bank at 11am and walk to The Gabba. At Lion Park there will be entertainment and family activities until the Lions v Essendon game at 1:10pm.

Plus you'll score a deadly Long Walk shirt and be able to redeem FREE tickets to the Lions game. *If you do not want game tickets, you must still register below to be part of the event and receive a shirt.
