It's Women's Health Week and Body Image and Eating Disorders Awareness Week this 4 to 8 September! Come along enjoy free healthy snacks, chat with service providers and learn about resources specifically for women and gender-diverse folk to support their health. There will also be other free resources and information around body neutrality, sexual and reproductive health, physical health, mental wellbeing, and more.

Plus, don't miss the Faculty of Medicine OHS team's Plant Swap, where you can bring in your plants, seeds, cuttings, or gardening items and exchange them for new green treasures.

Plus, Student Advisers will also be present to assist you with any questions about student support as you progress through Semester 2. Whether you need guidance on financial hardship assistance, health and wellbeing advice, academic accommodations, or more, they are here to help.

We are collaborating with UQU’s Association of Postgraduate Students (UQUAPS) for their Henna & Tea event! Enjoy some tea whilst getting a free henna. PLUS, unwind with a free 5-minute massage. Bookings are not required – pop your name on the waitlist on the day or get your massage right away if there is a free spot.

Puppy pats? Say no more! Our furry friends from Happy Paws Happy Hearts will be at Herston campus, ready for some pats. There will also be a FREE sausage sizzle, hosted by the Faculty of Medicine, and stalls for you to chat about supports available to you as you prepare for the season of finals!

International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Lesbophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) at Herston! We are hosting a bake sale to raise funds for the LGBTQIA+ Bursary fund. Bring a gold coin or donate via the QR code to enjoy some delicious sweets and treats!

Uni Mental Health Day at Herston! Grab some food, take a breather from your lectures, clinics and classes and just let your mind relax and flow with a clay making workshop.

Add to the Patchwork Project and enjoy free refreshments with your peers while learning more about how you can be an ally for survivors of gendered violence and sexual assault.

Head down to Herston Vibes, enjoy live music and de-stress before exams! There will also be a sausage sizzle and 4 Paws on the Floor with a puppy. It’s free for current students from medicine, public health and dentistry (don’t forget your student ID).
