About Me

I am a Bachelor of Arts/Doctor of Medicine student who has been a member of this Advisory Group since its beginning in 2020. I am a second-generation immigrant, my parents having migrated here from China a few decades ago.

I am greatly passionate about advocating for the accommodation of CALD students’ particular needs, as I am cognisant of the challenges and barriers involved in uprooting one’s life to a different culture. I am optimistic about UQ’s capacity to continuously improve itself as a safe and welcoming home away from home for all CALD students.
