R U OK? Day

No qualifications needed to ask and check in with someone.

R U OK? Day is Thursday 12 September 2024

R U OK? Day is an annual suicide prevention campaign aiming to inspire and empower people to meaningfully connect with those around them and to provide support when someone is in need. The R U OK? Day theme this year is “I'm here to hear". Let the people in your life know you’re here, to really hear, because a conversation could change a life.

At UQ we're joining in on the conversation, across our campuses with activations at PACE  on Tuesday (10 September), and Herston on and St Lucia on Thursday (12 September).

Explore what's happening and the ways that you can connect and support others by simply asking R U OK?

Join us for a range of events and workshops to encourage and inspire conversations to check in with your mates, family and people around you.
