Respect Network Launch and Community Day | St Lucia
You're invited to celebrate the launch of the newly formed Respect Network - a community of staff and students dedicated to fostering inclusivity, safety and respect across our campuses.
Whether you're seeking support and information, looking to get involved in fun and educational activities or simply want to connect with others who share a commitment to a respectful campus culture this event is for you.
Activities will include:
- UQ and community stall holders
- Tote bag painting
- Interactive 'For Crying Out Loud' art installation
- Plenty of resources, competitions and prizes to be won
You don't need to be a current member of the Respect Network to attend.

About Respect at Uni Week 2026
Respect at Uni Week 2026 encourages us all to consider and learn about ways we can work together to prevent violence and harassment in our communities and create safe and respectful spaces wherever we are.
This year UQ Respect will be hosting a Community Day at each campus: 
- Dutton Park, Level 4 Inner sPACE (Thursday 19 March, 11:30am-1:30pm)
- Gatton Central Walkway (Tuesday 24 March, 11:30am-1:30pm)
- St Lucia, Campbell Place (Thursday 26 March, 11am-2pm)
- Herston, Outside Cafe Dose (Tuesday 31 March, 11:30am-1:30pm)
Come along to your campus Community Day and meet the UQ Respect Team, Workplace Diversity and Inclusion team, Respect Network Ambassadors and our amazing community services and partners! Enjoy a day of activities, stalls, food, and powerful conversations!
