We will ensure that our community can still come together on campus and online, as our global and UQ community continue to meet the challenges that COVID-19 poses..

What's on?

COVID Safe Events

All events and spaces are operating in line with current guidelines. We ask that you please practice social distancing at all times and if you have travelled in the last 14 days, been in contact with someone with COVID-19, or if you are feeling unwell or experiencing COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, please stay at home. Where relevant, you will be required to provide your contact details for contact tracing purposes.

UQLife in collaboration with UQ Sport bring you the second annual 3x3 UQ Slam Basketball Tournament! Whether you’re a casual jammer or the next rising NBA player, UQ Slam is for ALL basketball lovers. Get your crew together to compete in 3x3 Basketball matches for your chance to win big! Everyone's favourite event of the year is back! From Saturday 17 October to Sunday 1 November, UQ BLOOM festival will celebrate jacaranda season in style! Over the course of two weeks we welcome students, staff, alumni and the UQ community to enjoy a spectacular light show, live music, creative workshops, interactive student exhibits and a series of foodie events to get the taste buds watering!

    We had a chat with some of the crew about their favourite moments from the show so far.
  • Kasundri undertook the Winter Research Program on the topic "Developing online health information resources for adults on the autism spectrum" under supervisor Dr Katie Brooker - Mater Research Institute UQ. Kasundri shares her story.
  • In December 2019, Anna graduated from a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) with the Employability Award and is currently working as an intern pharmacist. Anna share's her story with us.
