UQlife outdoor event space
The UQLife Outdoor Event space is available to all staff who host or set up events to book for a maximum of two hours. Equipment will be provided for up to 100pax and will include: woven plastic rugs, coffee tables, beanbags and seating. You will also be provided with the necessary COVID-safe event signage and cleaning products. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be provided with access to for the storage marquee, which will be located on-site.
Club and Society bookings: Student based clubs and societies are also able to book this space as long as they go through the required approval process through the Union or their faculty and school. Events will also need to be signed off by P&F and all documentation will need to be provided to UQLife before booking. Please contact UQLife for more information before booking. uqlife@uq.edu.au

Booking Availability: 9am-6pm Monday-Friday
Booking time: 2 hour limit per booking
Pax: 100
Power: Power bollard available on site, any specific power requirements will need to be arranged by staff from your area/faculty.
Storage: 3x3 Marquee will be permanently set up with equipment available inside for hire.
Set up and pack down: Please note UQLife manage the booking site only. All set up and pack dwn will need to be arranged by your team. If you wish to book a UQLife casual staff member to assist with set up and pack down, you will need to email uqlife@uq.edu.au at least one week prior to your event, and you will be charged an hourly rate via RISQ form.
