Join UQ at the Brisbane Pride March this September!
This year, the UQ Ally Network will be marching in the Brisbane Pride March on 20 September, 2025 alongside other universities across the city! This is your invitation to join us in representing UQ within the University Unity group at the Brisbane Pride March 2025 - no registration necessary and free for all to join us! We’re excited to have you with us!
March details
• Meeting time: 9:30 am
• Date: Saturday, 20 September 2025
• Meeting point: Queen Victoria Monument in Queens Gardens, Brisbane.
• Keep an eye out for the University Unity banner, which will be a visible marker for the QLD University Groups.
No pre-registration required, just come along and join us!
Getting there
Buses: The nearest stops are George St 115, William St nr Elizabeth St 103, and Elizabeth St Stop 81. Train: Central Station is a 10–15 minute walk.
Ferry: The City Hopper ferry service stops at nearby North Quay Ferry Terminal, with services running from 5:45 AM to 12:20 AM
Driving. Limited parking is available in the CBD. We strongly encourage using public transport or ride-sharing services.
Please note: some streets will be closed for the march.
