Chat with peer educators to learn about the No taboo, there is support for you campaign, grab free resources and the ways you can access health support easily and freely at UQ.

Metro North Public Health

Chat to local sexual health professionals about safer sex, how to prevent, manage and communicate about STI’s within your relationships and where you can access support in the local community.

Shield: Support Services for men

Shield supports boys and men (14+) in QLD who have experienced sexual violence, through specialist counselling and supportive case management. Chat to the friendly team to learn more about this support service in your local community.

Women’s Health and Equality Queensland

Women’s Health and Equality Queensland are leaders in women’s health, gender equity and the primary prevention of violence in Queensland. We provide counselling, therapeutic groups and health services for women and gender-diverse people, as well as health promotion, community programs, professional education, and systems change.

Cam Fraser/In Your Skin

Chat with Brisbane based Men’s Sex Coach and Sexuality Educator, Cam Fraser, about masculinity, sexuality, male bodies, sexual health and males experiences of pleasure.

UQ Art Therapy

Get creative and express your identity through creating your own flag and tote bag designs. Guided by staff and students within our Master of Mental Health Art Therapy program.

UQ Welfare and Accessibility

Get to know your UQ Welfare and Accessibility Team within Student Support and Wellbeing Services. Spin the wheel and answer a question about dating in Australia to win a prize. Everyone is a winner!

UQ Neurodivergent Hub

The Neurodivergent Hub assists students who identify as neurodivergent (you do not need a diagnosis to join the program) to adapt to university life and find success at UQ. Chat to our friendly stall holders and  learn about the formal and informal support available to you, including workshops like group coaching and mentoring. 

UQ Association of Postgraduate Students

Connect with other postgraduate students as you play a game about online dating and recognising signs of safe and healthy relationships called “I’d swipe right if…”. Many prizes to be won!

Join us for UQ's inaugural SEXtember festival, an initiative aiming to normalise sex-positive conversations about sex, sexuality, healthy relationships, sexual health and reproductive health.
