About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Kalista, and I’m from Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a background in Psychology and currently doing my Master’s in Educational Studies.
I have always believed that health and wellbeing are the two most important assets that anyone should nurture to have a fulfilling life, because they are the foundation where we work our dream from. Through this initiative, I’m excited to promote both physical, mental, and sexual health to UQ students, helping them find the support they need as well as amplifying their voices so that their needs are better represented at campus. I’m especially interested in making sexual health education and advocation to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) students, where it might be unheard of to talk about it. That’s why I’m also part of the No Taboo, There Is Support for You campaign as a peer educator (come say hi to me at the UQ Wellbeing stand around campus!)
While I’m not reading academic journals for my studies, you can find me absorbed in a good fiction book or at the gym, while thinking when I can swim at the beach next!
