Join the UQ Wellness Challenge!
Starting on #unimentalhealthday, we want the entire UQ community to join us in prioritising their health and wellbeing. A collaboration between UQWellness, UQLife and UQSport, the 2020 Wellness Challenge is open to all – let’s keep well together!
Maintaining and enhancing our health and wellbeing should be a priority for all of us. Over the two week period (5-18 May 2020) carve out a little time in each day to do something good for you. Check off one a day or do as many as you can each day from the challenge activities. Don’t forget to provide updates and photos on the UQ Wellness 14 Day Challenge padlet page!

A 14 day challenge not enough for you? Well, after this challenge you have the option to sign up for one or all of the optional 7 day challenges (starting 19 May 2020!):

14 Day Wellness Challenge
UQ Wellness 7-day Be Active challenge!
We hope you are all feeling Well after the UQ Wellness 14 day challenge! Now it is time to focus on one health and wellbeing area you want to improve.
This challenge is all about being active and stretching (haha) ourselves physically! If you have been working from home more, or not as active as you would like to be at the moment, then this challenge is for you!
Make sure you are feeling well and able to participate in exercise activities. If any of the challenge activities are unfamiliar or not suitable for you, you can substitute to a more appropriate activity for you health and fitness capacity.

UQ Wellness 7 day Mental Wellbeing Challenge
We hope you are all feeling Well after the UQ Wellness 14 day challenge! Now it is time to focus on one health and wellbeing area you want to improve.
This challenge is all about finding your centre amongst the chaos. More than ever we need to be maintaining healthy habits for the mind and soul as we navigate unusual times. For best results, some activities are recommended to be completed daily (and beyond!).

Now it is time to BE BOLD! Being creative can bring many health benefits- from improving brain power, mental and physical wellbeing, as well as providing a space for accomplishment and 'finding flow' into our lives!
