Computers and Software
I have access to a reliable computer.
Check the Library website to register for access to a loanable laptop.
I have internet access and adequate data allowance.
You may be able to come to campus to access wi-fi. Check the Library website.
For internet and data at home, check with your service provider e.g.:
I can install Zoom and know how to use it.
Zoom is the UQ preferred online video platform. Find out more: What is Zoom?
We recommend you follow the below guidelines to ensure the best possible experience for everyone using Zoom:
- Do not enable video unless it is necessary for the class or meeting
- Close (leave) meetings when you have finished
- Only start and keep meetings open when they are required

I will check if I need course-specific software (e.g. SPSS) on my device at home.
Your Course Coordinator will advise you if you require specific software for your course.
Workspace
I have a quiet, well-lit and comfortable space to study.
You may still be able to come to campus to access the Library or other informal learning spaces, check the Library Website.

I have access to, and regularly check, Learn.UQ (Blackboard).
Help accessing Learn.UQ (Blackboard).
I have checked the Electronic Course Profile (ECP) and course announcements on Blackboard to see how learning activities have changed for each of my courses.
