UQ College: Reconciliation Week Fundraising Event
Join UQ College for a meaningful and inspiring fundraising event during National Reconciliation Week on Monday, May 29th, from 12-1pm. Professor Aunty Tracey Bunda, Professor of Indigenous Education, will lead the discussion on enabling programs and reconciliation, with all proceeds supporting Indigenous students studying at UQ College and hoping to enter UQ undergraduate programs. UQ College will match the proceeds raised, so your attendance and contribution will make a meaningful difference. Guests pay $12; UQ College/UQ students free (donations accepted). Biography - Professor Tracey Bunda
Tracey Bunda is a Ngugi/Wakka Wakka woman and the UQ Professor of Indigenous Education. She has an extensive 3-decade career in the university sector as a leader of Indigenous Higher Education.Her research and scholarly interests address the value of storying as methodology, power inequities in white institutions and Indigenous women’s leadership.
Her most recent co-authored book with Louise Phillips is Storying Social Movement/s.
