Wear It Purple Rainbow Run and Colour Course

We're back, bigger and brighter and a little different than before, with a sausage sizzle to raise money for the UQ LGBTQIA+ Bursary and Colour Course where you will have a chance to play fun, interactive and accessible games to learn more about LGBTQIA+ issues. You’ll have the chance to get covered in a washable, rainbow powder after you complete each activity, but may choose to opt out if you’d like.

For those who love a race, we will have hold the annual Rainbow Run where you can either walk or run to the finish line and be sprayed in rainbow colours by your fellow colleagues.

While many LGBTQIA+ people live healthy and happy lives, on average LGBTQIA+ people face significantly higher levels of discrimination, stigma, and social exclusion, which can contribute to deteriorating health, social and economic outcomes.
