**Trigger warning - This is a Sexual Violence Awareness Month event.  Please note that the content covers topics related to sexual misconduct and domestic and family violence.  We appreciate that not everyone will feel comfortable participating in this event and encourage students to reflect personally before choosing to attend.

Join UQ Respect this Sexual Violence Awareness Month and participate in the Clothesline Project at UQ. Express yourself in your own unique way, through words or creative artwork. These t-shirts will form part of the art installation at St Lucia, and students can collect their t-shirts after the event.

T-shirts and art supplies will be provided.

What is the Clothesline Project?

The Clothesline Project is a worldwide campaign educating society and raising awareness of the impact of violence and abuse. The project was first created in Cape Cod, Massachusetts (US) by Rachel Carey-Harper in 1990 after hearing that while 58,000 soldiers died in the Vietnam War, there were 51,000 women killed around the same time by men who claimed to love them.
