Ready to tackle real-world challenges in the age of AI?

Join UQ Library and the Sustainable Innovators Club (SIC) for Hack-AI-thon - a weekend of creativity, collaboration, and big ideas. In teams of 3 to 5, you’ll work alongside fellow students to design bold, innovative solutions that harness the potential of AI or address its risks.

Come curious. Leave inspired.

What's the challenge?

You'll choose from eight challenges across five themes. The specific challenges will remain secret until the week of the event. Themes include:

  1. Strengthen Communities
  2. Educate and Empower
  3. Thrive Financially
  4. Care for Earth
  5. Nurture Wellbeing.

Create something impactful! From AI-powered apps, awareness campaigns, policy proposals or prototypes, the possibilities are endless.

No coding experience? No worries! This hackathon is open to students from all faculties and fields of study. Whether you're a thinker, designer, strategist or storyteller, your ideas and perspective are what matter most.
