Enjoy an evening of peace and discovery while gazing at the southern skies at the picturesque Gatton campus.
Join the Summer Crew and the Brisbane Astronomical Society members as we gaze to the heavens.
This evening will be great as there is no bright moon to distract from searching the cosmos.
Can you find the Southern Cross? Do you know the closest galaxy to Earth? The closest star?
Light refreshments will be served.
Please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.
17:30 - Depart from St Lucia Campus
18:30 - Arrival to Gatton for sunset, light refreshments
19:30 - Star viewing commences
21:00 - Wrap up and head home.
