On the eve of National Reconciliation Week, Be Brave. Make Change is the 5 Year Anniversary of the the Uluru Statement from the Heart to the Australian people. This is your opportunity to take action and show your support by joining us in a walk around the Great Court of UQ, St Lucia Campus. Hear about the Uluru Statement from the Heart, the recent Yarrabah Affirmation and learn how you can Be Brave and Make Change for an Indigenous Voice to Parliament!

You are invited to join us for refreshments and taking action back at the Anthropology Museum foyer at the end of the walk. You may also like to spend some time viewing the Kirrenderri, Heart of the Channel Country exhibition.

About National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

UQ will be holding a number of events and activations from 27 May-3 June to commemorate National Reconciliation Week.
