This R U OK? Day held at Gatton on 7 September from 11am-1pm, Happy Paws Happy Hearts will be bringing puppies to the Central Walkway for pats, cuddles, and a good ol' head scratch! You can also drop down to say hi to Chappy!

R U OK? Day is an important intiative that reminds us that even the smallest of conversations can make a world of difference for someone close to us. While visiting the puppies and grabbing some pancakes, consider having an R U OK? Day conversation with a mate. You can visit the R U OK Day websit for more information on how you can check in: https://www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask. You can also grab some great R U OK? Day resources on the day at a stall dedicated to the initiative.

About R U Ok? 2022

R U OK? Day is an annual suicide prevention campaign aiming to inspire and empower people to meaningfully connect with those around them and to provide support when someone is in need. The R U OK? Day theme this year is “Are they really OK? Ask them today”. We are all encouraged to Ask R U OK?, Listen, Encourage Action, and Check In.

At UQ we're joining in on the conversation, across all our campuses with activations at Herston and Gatton on Wednesday 7 September and St Lucia on Thursday 8 September.
