We’re bringing community to UQ with stall holders from all around UQ and Meanjin to make it easier for you to connect with services, organisations, and opportunities to support your wellbeing.

Sometimes the biggest barrier to reaching out for support is knowing where to start. For UQ's Wellbeing Festival, we have connected with services all around Meanjin to bring health and wellbeing support and information to you with the aim of raising awareness of the many amazing supports in our community. Drop by the Community Connect stalls from 11am-3pm in the Great Court on Wednesday 12 October for the opportunity to chat to Allianz, BreastScreen, BUPA, Carers Queensland, Ethic Communities Council Queensland, FareShare, Lifeline, National Bowel Cancer Screening, ODIN Pass, PCYC, Sea Shephard, St Lucia Parkrun, UniSuper, World Wellness Clinic.

Also joining the Community Connect stalls are the services available within UQ to support your wellbeing, including the Employee Assistance Program, UQ Ally Network, UQ Health Care, UQ Healthy Living, UQ Student Services, UQ Wellbeing, UQ Wellness, and Workplace Diversity & Inclusion.

Drop by to have a chat, get some freebies and resources, network, and connect with our wonderful and vibrant UQ community.

About UQ's Wellbeing Festival 2022

Bringing together staff, students, and community- UQ’s Wellbeing Festival is the largest mental health and wellbeing focussed event at UQ in 2022.

UQ’s first Wellbeing Festival reflects and expands on the important factors that help people maintain positive mental health and wellbeing. Inspired by the Wheel of Wellbeing, UQ’s Wellbeing Festival repositions wellbeing in the context of the many facets of our lives, including our physical, emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, and financial wellbeing.

The Wellbeing Festival is coming to a campus near you, with a variety of wellbeing-focussed activities, performances, stalls, and freebies to encourage reflection, connection and highlight the importance of taking a break.

All activities, performances, workshops, and stalls are free to all staff, students, and community. Find out what’s happening on your campus and when the Wellbeing Festival is coming to you below. You can drop-in anytime and for as long as you like, even if it's just for a few minutes! We encourage you to come with your classmates, colleagues, and friends, and to connect with others while enjoying UQ’s first Wellbeing Festival.
