Get Involved Sticker Design Competition

The Get Involved community is diverse, creative, and engaged. As a way of celebrating all that you do for the wider UQ community and to showcase the talents and experience of the Get Involved cohort, we are running a sticker design competition with a prize valued at $100!

The winning sticker design will be that which best captures the spirit of getting involved at UQ. It will celebrate the Get Involved experience in a way that reflects the program values (connect, develop, impact, celebrate), and adheres to the UQ values (creativity, excellence, truth, integrity, courage, respect, inclusivity).

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Originality of design – the design is the unique product of the entrant and demonstrates creativity, innovation, and originality in its execution.
  • Aesthetics – the design demonstrates artistic flair and consideration of proportion, colour use, and layout of elements.
  • Impact – the design successfully captures, communicates, and reflects the Get Involved experience and values mentioned above.

The winning design will be turned into a sticker and used to promote the Get Involved program and experience at National Student Volunteer Week amongst other Get Involved events. Additionally, the winning designer will receive a UQ merchandise prize valued at $100!

The competition launches on Monday 16 May and will close at the end of Semester 2 O-week 24 July. The Get Involved community members who wish to submit a design and go into the running to win, not only a great prize, but have their design featured for the rest of the year will have the mid-semester break to get your creative juices flowing and submit your designs. The terms and conditions and entry criteria are available here

Why a sticker? Stickers are a fun way of expressing your personality and individuality. They are a way of saying what you stand for, what you like, what you do.

We hope that a Get Involved sticker will be a way to bring our community together and show the rest of UQ what they can get involved in too.
