About Get Connected
Get Connected is a project that is proudly supported by Allianz Care Australia, and aims to support our Culturally, Linguistically and Diverse Community at UQ. This project focuses on Transition support, Mental Health, Employability and Living Skills.
You will be able to connect with local organisations, external resources, services and opportunities in Brisbane and Greater Queensland, and enhance your student experience here at UQ.
The Connection Hub
The Connection Hub takes place every Wednesdays* at the Student Central (Building 42) from 11am to 2pm.
This is a safe space for making connections with other students in the CALD community or spending time with your friends, new or old! Come drop in at any time to engage with various activities and external organisations and vendors who are here to provide support to you.
Some of our regular external organisations include:
- CommBank Australia (CBA)
- Queensland Police Service (QPS)
- QSTARS (Queensland Statewide Tenant Advice and Referral Service)
