What new students at UQ will get out of the Get Set program

Having a peer mentor and joining a group will make your first Semester at UQ unforgettable. Here's why:

How it works

Once you submit your registration, you’ll be put in a specialised mentoring program based on your study area. From there you’ll be in a group of 8-15 other new students and given an experienced mentor, matched based on your study area, study type and campus.  You will be introduced to your group via our online mentoring platform and your student e-mail.

You will be able to attend weekly mentor-run group meet ups and connect with your mentor and peers online with some fun group activities & treats along the way!

Most of Get Set runs from Week 1 to Week 6 of every semester. Some study areas however have semester-long programs.
