NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The University of Queensland (UQ) recognises and values the significance and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Team at UQ, is committed to creating pathways to employment, building the capacity of our people and creating a sense of community and belonging on campus. Our goal is to bring a creative and independent approach to employment by giving the community the freedom to pursue a variety of employment opportunities and also work with the community to break down the employment barriers at UQ.
