What we do?
The UQ Outreach Ambassador Program is open to all students no matter their background. What brings them together is a passion for helping others, making a difference and a dedication to empowering students to achieve their goals and ambitions.
As part of the role, Ambassadors facilitate both in-class, whole cohort and on-campus sessions with underrepresented-school students, using their skills in rapport building, public speaking and teamwork to achieve the Outreach team goals.
Striving to enhance student outcomes across our partner schools,
the Outreach Ambassador Program has become a vital part of the Secondary Schooling experience for many students across the Ipswich and Lockyer Valley Regions.
What we want from you?

- Provide information to break down barriers to attending University
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to co-facilitate self-development workshops for secondary students
