< Back to all UQ Wellbeing Student Representatives
Hi! My name is Rhea, I’m 18 and I’m really excited to be a UQ Student Wellbeing Representative this year. I’m in my first year of Veterinary Science at Gatton and have been really enjoying it so far. I’m really passionate about youth health and well-being, in particular for CALD communities. Being a first generation Australian myself, I’ve experienced first hand barriers to accessing healthcare and I believe that health promotion at Uni is so important. I’m really excited to be a part of a cohesive team that works on creating more engagement, discussion and empowerment on health related topics. My past work lies in community youth engagement and advocacy so I’m really looking forward to what we can achieve. This year I hope our projects can create unity amongst our diversity and spread awareness on topical health issues.
