About Me
While Maria's main passion lies in healthcare, she found a new calling as an agri-preneur and an agri-enterprise youth empowerment leader. She engages with various communities to create a positive and more sustainable impact in the world. She is currently taking her Masters in Agricultural Science at UQ with a goal to foster a renewed appreciation of farming and to cultivate the next generation of farmers and food producers by transforming local food systems, enhancing food security and promoting sustainable agri-based livelihoods, especially to women and marginalized areas. She also advocates for body-positive fitness, self-care, and mental health.
