Drop by the Tactile Playbox with our Student Advisors to destress with some kinetic sand and talk about exams, extensions, and your wellbeing. Play has been shown to significantly decrease stress and increase social and coping skills, performance and cognitive ability, so come by and relax with us! (1-2)

About Uni Mental Health Day

University ‘Uni’ Mental Health Day (UMHD) is an annual campaign held around the world to bring awareness and focus to the unique challenges students and staff face to their mental health and social and emotional wellbeing when studying and working at a university.

Join us for UQ’s celebration of the 11th annual Australia and New Zealand UMHD from Tuesday 7 May to Thursday 9 May 2024.

Look out for activities, workshops and events promoting mental health across all campuses, and learn about the support and services available to you here at UQ and in the wider community. UMHD at Dutton Park will be taking place on Thursday, 2 May.

Take some time to remind yourself, peers and loved ones to take care for one's mental health and wellbeing.

UMHD is hosted by UQ Wellbeing and proudly supported by Allianz Care Australia.
