Frazer Institute ED&I committee presents Round Four of their Trivia and Drag Queen Show

The BEL Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee invites you to join us on Thursday 29 August for our third annual Wear It Purple Rainbow Run and Colour Course.

This year's WIPD theme is ‘Your Passion, Your Pride’ and celebrates LGBTQIA+ people openly and visibly achieving their dreams in sport, science and more. On this day, UQ Art Museum is celebrating all day with activities on the Art Museum lawn and special activations in the UQ Art Museum. We’ll be hosting talks, artwork displays, creative activities and stalls that celebrate our diverse LGBTQIA+ community. 

This year, for Wear It Purple Day, the UQ Ally Network is organising a morning of talks to showcase some of the excellent research being conducted across UQ examining the health and wellbeing of the LGBTQIA+ community. We invite you to come along and join us in hearing all about this work!

The UQ Art Museum lawn is going purple (Wear it Purple Day style)! Come and take happy snaps with your friends at the Purple Dream Wall, connect with the UQ Ally Network, get creative at the colouring-in station, and learn about UQ Respect's recently launched 'For Crying Out Loud' campaign.

Yes, you heard that right - FREE Drag Trivia at the Red Room for UQ students! Join us for an evening of entertainment, education, and empowerment for the launch event of the 'For Crying Out Loud' LGBTQIA+ sexual violence prevention campaign at UQ.
Hosted by Meanjin-based drag queen Henny Spaghetti, this free trivia night is guaranteed to be a hoot. Come as you are and connect with community, test your knowledge around queer history, pop culture, and relationships, grab a bite to eat, and win some cool prizes!

International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Lesbophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) at Herston! We are hosting a bake sale to raise funds for the LGBTQIA+ Bursary fund. Bring a gold coin or donate via the QR code to enjoy some delicious sweets and treats!
