Student Health Month

Empowering you to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Join us for UQ’s Student Health Month.

From 4 to 29 August 2025, Student Health Month by UQ Wellbeing aims to spotlight student health needs, expand support for various health aspects, and to empower you with various knowledge and skills to enhance your wellbeing. How you fuel and move your body can have a big impact on your mind, health and quality of life. Join us for a month of events, workshops and activations to learn ways you can access healthcare safely and easily, as well as new tips and skills to enhance your nutritional and physical health, including mental health, sexual and reproductive health.

Move

Movement, at any intensity and any level, is sometimes all we need to de-stress, regulate our emotions, boost our energy levels, and just feel good overall! Don’t miss out on the various activations happening for all levels of fitness and mobility: whether it’s slow mindful movements like yoga, testing your fitness levels for fun, or a round of social sport with your friends and peers.

Fuel

How we fuel our bodies will influence how well we move and how our bodies function physically, mentally and emotionally. This Student Health Month, Foodbank Queensland are hosting a free Student Market Stall* at St Lucia on Wednesday, 20th August. These markets have been generously provided by Allianz Partners. Take home a range of fresh produce and key pantry staples at no cost! (We encourage you to bring your own reusable bag in case of bag shortages.)

Based at Dutton Park, Gatton or Herston? Bring home your own blend of overnight oats at UQ Wellbeing’s Make Your Own: Overnight Oats and see how easy it can be to prepare a quick and nutritious meal/snack and save you time for your other priorities during the semester. Jars and ingredients will be provided to you for free.

*Please bring along your Student ID to scan and enter the market stall.
