Student Health Month

Empowering you to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Join us for UQ’s Student Health Month.

From 3 to 28 August 2026, Student Health Month by UQ Wellbeing aims to spotlight student health needs, expand support for various health aspects, and to empower you with various knowledge and skills to enhance your wellbeing. How you fuel and move your body can have a big impact on your mind, health and quality of life. Join us for a month of events, workshops and activations to learn ways you can access healthcare safely and easily, as well as new tips and skills to enhance your nutritional and physical health, including mental health, sexual and reproductive health.

Move
Movement, at any intensity and any level, is sometimes all we need to de-stress, regulate our emotions, boost our energy levels, and just feel good overall! Don’t miss out on the various activations happening for all levels of fitness and mobility: whether it’s slow mindful movements like yoga, testing your fitness levels for fun, or a round of social sport with your friends and peers.
Fuel
How we fuel our bodies influences how well we move and how our bodies function physically, mentally and emotionally. In partnership with Allianz Partners, Foodbank Queensland will be hosting a free Student Market Stall* at St Lucia. Based at Dutton Park, Gatton or Herston? UQ Wellbeing will be supplying a free Food Pantry!
*T&Cs apply - Visit our registration booth to collect your stallholder passport to complete.
Mood
Unwind and connect with your mind and self with the different arts & crafts activities on various event days! Chat with the UQ Counselling team to learn more about the range of Wellbeing Programs created and hosted by UQ Counsellors that can provide you with the support and skills beneficial for the different issues you might be facing in this chapter of life.
Learn
From information around how you access healthcare in Australia safely and confidentially, to accessing resources and support for your all aspects of health and wellbeing, don’t miss the opportunity to connect with services and support available to you at UQ and in the community as well.
