Op Shop til you drop! Vinnies is bringing their shop to UQ for UQ's Wellbeing Festival.

UQ’s Wellbeing Festival is coming to St Lucia this year on Wednesday 12 October with an exciting line-up of events and activities including the UQ Connect Stage, Community Connect Stalls, Wellbeing Workshop, and a UQ Sport pop-up starting from 8am until 3pm in UQ’s Great Court.

We’re bringing community to UQ with stall holders from all around UQ and Meanjin to make it easier for you to connect with services, organisations, and opportunities to support your wellbeing.

The ‘Connect Stage’ brings to centre stage UQ’s many staff and student talents for a full-day program classes, and talks to spotlight the importance of culture and connection for our wellbeing. ASL interpreted event. Full performance program released soon.

Join UQ students, academics, professional staff and external community representatives for a panel discussion on the topic of: "Challenges to higher education access experienced by refugee-background students and academics.”

On 25 May, the UQ Ally Network and the First Responders Network will be holding a stall at Student Central from 11am-1pm for LGBTQ+ DV Awareness Day. Join us to connect with our community and for access to resources and support. We encourage all staff to take the Pledge to Create Change to stand up and help put an end to domestic violence in LGBTQ+ communities. Everyone deserves to be #SeenAndBelieved

Come for the literature - stay for the vibes! Whether you just want to relax and listen, share a piece on the open mic, or swap a book, this free session will be positively chill. *finger snaps*
